The Kendall County Fair association is honored to announce the 2021 Parade Grand Marshal is Chief Jim Kohler of the Boerne Police Department.

Chief Jim Kohler has been with the Boerne Police Department since 1990 and has a Master Peace Officer's certificate. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, and he also received a Masters of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the American Military University where he graduated with honors. Chief Kohler is also a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute, the FBI National Academy, and is a TCLEOSE-certified instructor.

The Kendall County Fair Association wishes Chief Kohler a happy retirement. His service and dedication to the community is greatly appreciated.

Tuffy Bourgeois

The 2021 Honorary Parade Grand Marshal is Senior Director Tuffy Bourgeois. He is a long time resident of Kendall County. He dedicated many of those years as a volunteer and Director of the Kendall Fair Association. He held various positions during his directorship, including Control and Horse Barns. Tuffy's charismatic personality and dedication to the building a better organization was instrumental in making positive changes to the Association as a whole. His passion for family and community has been surpassed by none. As a senior director we still draw on his wealthy of knowledge.

Tuffy and wife, Lynn, have 4 children, Dirk (Maribel), Josie, Sara (Chris) and Colter (Kaylin). They also have 4 wonderful grandchildren that light up their world, Hank, Landan, Demi &

The 115th Annual Kendall County Fair is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, September 3 to 5, 2021. It is our pleasure to invite you to join the fun and excitement by honoring us with your entry in the 2021 Kendall County Fair Parade. After a year off due to the pandemic, we decided to have a little extra fun this year. Our parade has a theme : Aloha Kaulike meaning Hello Fair. A Big Kahuna grand prize award will be given to the parade entry that best represents the them the best. Floats, marching units, bands and just plain folks come from all over South Texas to participate in the parade. The parade will start on North Main at Frederick Road near the Boerne Fire Station and proceed South on Main Street toward the Kendall County Fair grounds.

Come see the float bearing the newly crowned Kendall County Fair Queen and her court, the most beautiful and talented group of young ladies in the world, bar none!

Come early to find your spot and have a tailgate party!

Parade Date: Saturday, September 4, 2021
Start Time: Promptly at 10:00 AM

I agree to participate in the Kendall County Fair Parade on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in downtown Boerne. I have read and agree to abide by all guidelines and rules that have been set up by the Kendall County Fair Association and to cooperate in every way possible to insure the success of the parade. All parade information and placement numbers within the parade will be on the website listed approximately one week prior to the Kendall County Fair Parade.

NOTE: You must fill out every category in BOLD PRINT. If you didn't fill one in, it won't let you flip screens - double check that you have filled everything in appropriately and checked all the boxes! :)

We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization and run completely by volunteers. We greatly appreciate any additional monetary donations you are able to make. These monies will help offset the cost of traffic control and security for the Kendall County Fair Parade!!

Thank you for participating in the Kendall County Fair Parade!

The day of the Parade please:
- Volunteers will be on hand in the staging area to direct you to your spot.
- Make sure that everyone on your entry knows the City of Boerne & KCFA rules of the parade.
- Please be ready for judging at 9 am. - Parade starts promptly at 10 am.
