"Handcrafted in America" is NOT a lost art at the Kendall County Fair Grounds.
The annual Oma’s Christmas Fair has been a part of the Kendall County Fair Association since the 1980's. We cherish the workmanship of those unique artisans that still have a love for the hand crafted, made in the USA label. Our craftsman are skilled in time tested American folk art techniques. They carve, weave, string, paint, sew, cook, draw and create beautiful items all year long. This event is held every year the 1st weekend in December.
The 2021 event will be held on December 4th & 5th. The family oriented arts & crafts fair will also feature Santa Land featuring visits and photos with Santa!! Children will be able to have lunch with Santa on Sunday and many other activities on both Saturday & Sunday. We will also be holding our annual coloring contest and new this year a Christmas Cookie Contest!!
Concessions are also available featuring the traditional "Potato Soup" among other items. We will also have food vendors with other varieties of food.
Getting the word out is a crucial part of the success of the show. The cost of advertising has sky rocketed. We will continue to advertise Oma's but we need your help. The best advertising comes from "Word Of Mouth." We are asking you as a vendor to pass the word and please pass out copies of the flyer at every craft show you attend during the year. Tell everyone you know, all your clients, family and friends.
