President Shane Boerner 2016-2018

Hello and "Welcome" to the 113th Annual Kendall County Fair. I am pleased and honored to serve as the President of the Kendall County Fair Association and to represent the lifetime members of the association. I've been involved with the Kendall County Fair Association for many years. 2018 is my 3rd year as President. We have taken great strides in making changes to better the organization and hope you enjoy the changes we are making. We are in the process of re-fencing the road along Highway 46 along with other projects maintaining the grounds.

We are a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit Organization and the support we receive from the community is very much appreciated. The community's involvement, support and donations will continue to help us bring the best annual county fair possible among other events during the year. For the second year we have partnered with Boerne Berges Fest to bring a "Bull Riding Event " during Berges Fest. In November of this year we are "Welcoming" back the Wild Game Event to the fairgrounds. We hope to continue building relationships and partnerships with other community organizations to bring the community the best we all have to offer you!

A Family Fun oriented 2018 Fair Weekend is planned. We begin Thursday with the Exhibit Hall accepting entries during the day. Thursday night is "Family Night" with FREE ADMISSION. The highlight of Thursday night is when the 2017-2018 Reigning Court crowns their successors for the 2018-2019 year. Limited food, drink and arts and crafts booths will be open. Gates open at 5:00 P.M. on Friday and 10:00 A.M. on Saturday and Sunday for the fun to begin. Lester Meier Rodeo Company will produce nightly rodeo's on Friday and Saturday night and bull riding on Sunday night. Come early and sign up your child for "Mutton Busting". Daily and nightly entertainment under the pavilion along with a Livestock show, Exhibit Hall, Apple Pie Contest, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Activities for the kids including Magicians just to name of few of the events scheduled daily. All the events are included with gate admission and parking is FREE.

Thanks to my Directors and their spouses and families, Senior Directors, Queen's Court and their families, along with numerous volunteers, sponsor and donors. Without all we would not be able to put on such a Family Fun event for the community. We hope you enjoy this year's fair. We are humbled and "THANK" everyone that helps make the Annual Kendall County Fair possible! We look forward to seeing you Labor Day Weekend.
