Kendall County Fair & Other Events

Kendall Country Fair, Stock Show & Rodeo

The Kendall County Fair has been an icon in the Hill Country community since its inception in 1905. The Fair as a fun filled weekend and a showcase for the local agricultural industry, saw its beginnings as the citizens of Boerne, Texas gathered together for the first time to share agricultural information, recipes and news of events on Sept. 4, 1905. On July 1, 1913, the corporation gained a charter as a nonprofit from the State of Texas.

Oma's Christmas Craft Fair

"Handcrafted in America" is not a lost art due to the efforts of the Women's Auxiliary of the Kendall County Fair Association. American handcrafted items are made for the event with the best of care, by entrepreneurs that often work out of their homes while using time tested American folk art techniques that will never be lost as long as there is an Oma's Christmas Craft Fair every December at the Kendall County Fair Association grounds. Sponsored by the WA of KCFA for over 25 years, the Oma's Christmas Craft Show inspires vendors to carve, weave, string, paint, sew, draw and create beautiful items all year long, that are not matched any where else because they are made by the loving hands of an American crafter just for this show.
